New York sportswriter Mack (Gina Rodriguez) has spent years devising successful hook-up “plays” with best friend Adam (Damon Wayans Jr.) and their crew. While it has led to countless one-night stands over the years, following their playbook comes with a strict set of ground rules – chief among them: you can’t build a relationship from a play. When Mack unexpectedly falls for her latest target, charming war correspondent Nick (Tom Ellis), she begins to rethink the game entirely. As the lines between work, fun, friendship, and romance begin to blur, Mack must learn what it takes to go from simply scoring to playing for keeps.—Netflix

Players (2024) in Hindi – Review
Players (2024) Hindi: I’m gonna be honest, I was lying in wait for this movie to release, but only for Tom Ellis. He played his character phenomenally. Unfortunately for me, I hardly got to enjoy his exceptional acting because I spent the entire movie hating his absolutely hateable character.I did guess the entire plot and ending within five minutes of watching it (I actually guessed most of it during the trailer tbh), but the movie did have its enjoyable moments, such as Adam’s very quotable lines and Brannagan’s fierce loyalty. Nick was incredibly narcissistic, which I also previously gathered from the trailer. The characters were well fleshed out and all had a decent amount of screen time. Mostly, I was disappointed in Mack, the main character, for many of her decisions. I also don’t believe that we got enough of an emotional connection between her and her parents. Maybe a few flashbacks would’ve patched up that particular issue.
