Irish Wish (2024) Hindi Movie Review

Book editor Maddie Kelly (Lindsay Lohan) is in love with her famous client Paul Kennedy, but he falls for her best friend. After a short romance, they are set to marry at his family estate in Ireland. At the airport, bridesmaid Maddie has a run-in with photographer James Thomas (Ed Speleers) who doesn’t like Paul’s book. While sitting on a wishing bench, she makes a wish to marry Paul.After a lost decade, Lindsay is trying to make a comeback. She may not be on the road for a serious comeback, but she is on a trail traveling in that general direction. This is a perfectly fine rom-com for streaming although they may want more. I have no such expectations. The production value is actually good. Ireland looks nice. Lohan and Speleers are pretty good for this. I would like a hunkier and dumber Paul. The girlfriends are forgettable. All that are besides the point. It’s all about Lohan. She’s no longer the cutie young IT girl although she is still playing the same character.
